Cyber Liability

Cyber Liability Program comes standard with every workers’ compensation policy. The Cyber Liability Program protects businesses for the cost of an actual or suspected violation of a privacy regulation due to a security breach that results in the unauthorized release of protected personal information which is any private, non-public information of any kind in the merchants care, custody or control.

The program provides $100,000 of protection for specific costs and liabilities associated with a privacy breach. The program includes sub-limits for cyber events, ransom payments, and cyber deception.

A claim or potential claim must be reported to the insurer in accordance with the terms of the policy.
